COM 1939): Montreal football and hockey star; served War of 1939-1945 in the Royal Canadian navy; joined (1945) Dominion Textile Corporation Inc. as Athletic Director climbing the ranks through industrial relations, product sales, Vice-President (Sales), General Manager to become (1969) President of:
"the biggest fabric producer and seller in Canada, employing in its 30 plants distribut%ed between Quebec and Ontario, 10,000 workers, of which 85% are French ..” (Press feature, 1971)
