Background
During his retirement, Lancelot Perowne spent several years researching and deleveloping the history of he Perowne family. He completed his work in 1973.
Original Document
He produced a a paperbacked document by printing using manual device similar to a Roneo machine. Using typed wax stencils and manual ink rolling. He sent completed copies to all family members he had contacted.

My father received a copy in 1973. When I looked at this in the early 1990's the document was deteriorating and becoming difficult to read, I decided to resort to technology and used an Optical Character Reader (OCR) to create a digital copy. After several months of manual editing in MS Word I created the first version of this website. Unfortunately after passage of time it ceased to function due to non supported software and data corruptions during transfers. I have now recreated a functioning website to once again display Lancelot's work together with some updates and addiions. Gregory Joseph Perowne.
